Due to their special characteristics, step drills allow an economic production. From the simple core hole drill up to the complex subland twist with multiple twists and form passages, the drilling tools can be adjusted in their core thickness and in the chips space to the exact diameter proportion. This is their main advantage, as this precise adjustment is not possible with DINtools.
Step drills are always manufactured according to drawing or a sample. They are available with parallel, reduced or conical shank and with addressing thread or clamping surface. With any tool type a highly economic processing is facilitated as several processing steps can be combined to one.
